Aleris Europe features one of the world’s latest 160-inch (4.064 m) hot rolling mills. Together with the 148-inch (3.760 m) cold rolling mill, Aleris manufactures many different plates in various standard and customer-specified alloys. One of our strengths is very-wide and ultra-thick plates, either heat treated or non-heat treated. With our Alustar®-branded products, we provide the shipbuilding and defense industries with an exceptional product. All of our innovative, high-quality aluminum plates fulfill the most demanding standards, plus many individual customer specifications.
